Water hardness Cavities

The water hardness in Holten is approximately 6.60 dH. However, the exact water hardness depends on the area where you live. If you use approximately 150 m³ of water per year, you still have approximately 21.5 kg of lime in the water. You will certainly notice this difference, despite the low water hardness. With the Amfa4000® you can significantly reduce the amount of lime in your drinking water. In addition, household appliances such as your kettle and boiler will reach the right temperature sooner and have a longer lifespan. However, you can also save money by investing in Amfa4000®. Another important reason to choose this anti-limescale system is that you will have fewer limescale problems.

This is how you reduce limescale with the Amfa4000®

If you live in Holten and want less lime water, we can offer you the Amfa4000®. This anti-limescale system is a good alternative to water softeners. You can easily install the system yourself. You do it in just 5 minutes and can do this both before and after the water meter. The magnets in the system prevent the calcium and magnesium particles from binding to each other. This makes your water softer. Here are some of the benefits:

  • Limitation of the lime quantity
  • Cleaner household appliances
  • Lower energy costs

What is the water like in Holten?

The water hardness in Holten is around 6.60 dH in most places. This means that the water hardness in Holten is quite soft, but that does not mean that there are no limescale deposits. Also, the hardness of the water in your home depends on your exact location. With a water hardness of 6.6 dH, there are approximately 120 grams of quicklime in one m³ of water. We think this is a lot, too much even. For these reasons we are happy to offer you a solution, namely the Amfa4000®.

Drinking water company Vitens is responsible for drinking water in Utrecht. Water hardness in Holten is not unhealthy, but an anti-limescale system is not a bad investment either. The softest water in the Netherlands can be found in Flevoland, where the water hardness is around 2 dH. Holten therefore still has a lot of room for improving water hardness. Compared to Southern Europe, where water hardness can sometimes reach 50 dH, Holten is certainly not in a bad situation.  If you have any questions about the Amfa4000® or about the water hardness in Holten, you can always contact . We would be happy to tell you more about the water hardness in your place of residence and about the operation of the Amfa4000®.
